You can delete your AURORA account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account and the private cloud data associated with it, including your Cruise Passport, watches, trackers, and activity history.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open AURORA and go to the Account tab.
- Optional but recommended: choose Export my data first if you want a copy.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion is deliberate — AURORA will ask you to confirm explicitly before anything is removed.
Or request deletion by email
Email support@auroracruising.com with the subject "Account deletion request" from the email address registered to your account. We will verify the request and respond within legally required windows. You can also direct privacy and rights requests to legal@auroracruising.com.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity.
- Your Cruise Passport: sailing history, port preferences, trusted lines, fit weights, cabin and party defaults.
- Your watches and trackers, including target prices and price lines.
- Your activity and alert history.
What may be retained
- Consent records, for the period required to demonstrate legal compliance.
- Booking attribution records needed for commission reconciliation (these contain an internal ID, not your identity as shared with partners).
- Aggregated demand cohorts already delivered to partners cannot be recalled, but all future cohorts exclude your deleted data.
See the Privacy Policy for full retention details.
Device-only data
If you use AURORA without signing in, your data lives only on your device in an anonymous namespace and is never synced to an account. To remove it, use the app's clear/start-over controls or uninstall the app. Signing out of an account also lets you choose whether to keep or clear the device copy.
